Training and Conditioning
Personal Training -
$80.00/session
These one-on-one
workouts are based on pre-determined assessments and
programmed activity and fitness plans.
Group Training
$20.00 each per session.
Two or more individuals
comprise a group. Workouts are based on the group’s sport,
season of play and current fitness level. This is the
standard rate for our teen athlete’s.
Team Training - $200.00
Get your team together
for a team circuit-training workout. Warm-up, training and
cool-down activities normally last 1.5 hours. Serves as a
fun team-building activity. We come to you with our
equipment. You provide the space.

Fitness Consultations
A fitness consultation
is to be completed prior to booking any one on one personal
training or conditioning program. Three options are
available.
The Total Package–
$450.00
The total package
includes a comprehensive appraisal of current physical and
functional fitness levels. Physical fitness assessment
includes: analyzing current lifestyle habits, calculating
somatotype (biological body type), body composition
assessment using skinfold and electrolipogram readings,
measuring the body (height, weight and girth), measuring
blood pressure and heart rate levels, and an extensive
nutritional analysis based on a seven day food diary.
Functional fitness assessment includes testing movement for:
power, quickness, speed, lateral agility, flexibility,
aerobic capacity, core strength, and general upper and lower
body strength.
A functional movement
screen will be conducted to identify deficiencies. Once
testing is complete, a personalized fitness program is
constructed with the individual’s goals and needs in mind.
The coach interview and three workouts are included. Allow
six hours for completion.
The Snapshot- $200.00
The snapshot includes
appraisal of a select number of current physical and
functional fitness levels. Physical fitness assessments
include: analyzing current lifestyle habits, measuring body
composition using electrolipogram readings and measuring the
body (height, weight and girth). Blood pressure and heart
rate assessment. Functional fitness assessment includes
testing movement for: power, quickness, speed, lateral
agility, flexibility, aerobic capacity, core strength, and
general upper and lower body strength. A functional
movement screen will be conducted to identify deficiencies.
Once testing is complete, a personalized fitness program is
constructed with the individual’s goals and needs in mind.

The Starter’s Package-
$100.00
The Starter’s package
includes a brief appraisal of current physical and
functional fitness levels and is aimed at those currently
involved in fitness and training programs. Physical fitness
assessments include: analyzing current lifestyle habits,
measuring body composition using electrolipogram readings
and measuring the body (height, weight and girth).
Functional fitness assessment is not conducted with the
starter’s package. Once physical fitness testing is
complete, a personalized fitness program is constructed with
the individual’s goals and needs in mind. The coach
interview and one workout are included. Allow one and
one-half hours for completion

Other Services Available
Nutritional Assessment –
$175.00
A nutritional
assessment will be conducted based on a seven-day food
diary. Nutritional habits are noted. Advice and
counseling provided is based on gender, age, nutritional
deficiencies, current activity levels and level of
competition.
Body Composition Analysis - $30.00
Skinfold measurements
and bioelectrical impedance are used to determine percentage
body fat levels. Body composition education and counseling
are provided based on results.
Personal Fitness
Testing/Assessment - $40.00
Need data for
an upcoming camp or team try-out? Using recognized testing
protocols, we perform cardiovascular, muscular strength,
endurance, flexibility, quickness and speed tests.
Team Fitness/Assessment -
$300.00
The same
battery of tests described above are applied in a team
setting.
Fitness Equipment Purchasing or Basic Fitness advice is
always available for free. Just ask!
Registration
Details
To register for a
program please call or e-mail. All new participants must
fill out a waiver form prior to training.
*Please note that
all rates are based on sessions and not hours. Training
sessions vary in length and are contingent on individual
programs and fitness levels and normally last longer than
one hour.
Educational Services
Fitness Theory Courses - $450.00
This course is directed
toward individuals wanting information on how to keep
themselves and others fit in a safety-oriented environment.
Course topics include: Bone and Joint Anatomy, Muscle
Anatomy, Strength and Endurance training principles,
Flexibility, Cardiorespiratory Endurance, Energy and
Nutritional Needs, Safety in Fitness and an introduction to
the Adult Learner and Professional Leadership in Fitness.
Although largely a theory based course, opportunities exists
for training throughout the course. This is a British
Columbia and Parks Association (BCRPA) recognized course.
BCRPA recognized courses and certification provide
employment opportunities in an expanding local and global
fitness industry. This is a pre-requisite for the Aerobics
Instructor, Weight Training Instructor and Aquafit
Instructors courses. A detailed course syllabus is available
upon request. Course fees include the Fitness Knowledge
Student Workbook.
Weight Training Instructor
Courses - $300.00
This course is directed
to those interested in BCRPA certification and working in
the fitness industry as a weight-training instructor. The
course is designed to provide practical assessment and
teaching skills required for basic and advanced resistance
based program design. Course topics include: the basics of
weight training, anatomy and physiology, exercise selection,
technique and appropriate teaching tips, program planning
and design, nutritional needs, drugs and supplements and how
to develop a personal professional profile. This course is
also aimed at those simply wanting a greater understanding
of training principles and not interested in certification.

Course fees include the Weight Training Instructor Student
Workbook.
Personal Training Courses - $335.00
This
course is directed to those interested in providing
Individual and group Fitness Appraisal and Counseling. This
332-hour course gives personal trainers the minimum
requirements to be registered with the BCRPA upon successful
completion of the Personal Training exam. Course topics
include marketing and business concepts together with
fitness assessment, health screening, risk management,
program design and ethics. A detailed course syllabus is
available upon request. Course fees include the Personal
Trainer manual.
First-Aid Training
Research has proven
that first-aid training can reduce on-the-job injuries and
increase employee awareness of injury-causing situations
anytime, anywhere. People of all ages can encounter
injuries at home, at play, at school or on the job.
Numerous benefits exist from first-aid training for both
employee and employer. The case for an investment in first
aid training is clear when you consider both the direct and
indirect cost of injuries.
St. John Ambulance Emergency
Level Certification - $240.00
This 8-hour course gives
participants critical knowledge and the confidence to
effectively manage an emergency, without panic or
confusion. The focus is on giving first aid for common
injuries that could occur in the workplace, or at home. It
gives participants the basic skills to reduce shock, contain
injuries and in many cases, same lives. Course topics
include: emergency scene management, shock, unconsciousness
and fainting, artificial respiration – adult, choking,
severe bleeding, cardiovascular emergencies and CPR, head,
spinal and pelvic injuries, chest injuries, burns and
medical conditions. Certificate of competency issued based
on successful ongoing skills evaluation and written
examination (pass = 70%). National St. John Ambulance
Emergency Level First Aid certificate valid for
three (3) years. Course fees include: First On The
Scene: Emergency Level Activity Book and certification.
St. John
Ambulance CPR Level A Certification - $100.00
No matter where you
are, people of all ages can suffer heart failure. From
choking to cardiac arrest, the situation is life threatening
and requires swift, effective response. Knowing what to do
can save a life. This 4-hour course teaches participants
swift, confident action. Course topics include: one
rescuer, CPR, artificial respiration, and chocking
manoeuvres for adults. Certificate of competency issued upon
successful ongoing skills evaluation and written examination
(pass = 70%). National St. John Ambulance CPR Level A
certificate valid for three (3) years. Course fees
include: CPR Level A (Heart Start) Activity Book and
certification.
2004
Graduation Program Portfolio Credit For Senior Students -
see below for costs
Designed to help grade
10-12 students attain accreditation directed toward The New
Grad Program (2004) Portfolio requirements. Come train with
Precision fitness in a group or individually and accumulate
credit hours leading to the 80 hours total required to
complete the Personal Health (Core) component of the
Portfolio. Complete all or a portion of this requirement and
receive appropriate documentation.
